Chen Zheyu

Chen Zheyu

Chairman

Mr. Chen Zheyu holds the position of Chairman of COSCO SHIPPING (North America). Prior to his current assignment in the United States, he held the position of Chairman and President of COSCO Shipping (Oceania). Mr. Chen began his career in the shipping industry in 1995 and has held increasing roles of importance within a wide variety of segments, including vessel management, operations, strategy development, and overseas business management. Mr. Chen holds a bachelor’s degree in Ship Handling and Maneuvering from Shanghai Maritime University.

Zhang Feng

President

Mr. Zhang Feng holds the position of President of COSCO SHIPPING (North America). Prior to his US assignment, he held the position of Managing Director of New Golden Sea Shipping PTE LTD, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of COSCO SHIPPING Lines. Mr. Zhang began his career in the shipping industry in 1995 and has served in varying positions of importance within COSCO SHIPPING companies, particularly in regard to container transportation. Mr. Zhang graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University with a bachelor’s degree in French Language and Literature.

Gu Quanlin

Executive Vice President

Mr. Gu Quanlin holds the position of Executive Vice President of COSCO SHIPPING (North America). Prior to his current US assignment, he held the position of General Manager of the Board of Directors’ Office and Executive Division of COSCO SHIPPING Corporation Limited. Mr. Gu has extensive industry experience in shipping management and port and terminal operations, both within China and the United States, having previously served as the President of West Basin Container Terminal in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Gu graduated with a diploma in Marine Engineering from Wuxi Shipbuilding School in 1987 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Shanghai Maritime University in 1991, and holds a Master of Arts in English Language and Translation from Shanghai Maritime University and a Master of Business Administration from Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands.

Ji Fengming

Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President

Mr. Ji Fengming holds the position of Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of COSCO SHIPPING (North America). Prior to his US assignment, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Piraeus Port Authority in Greece from 2016 to 2018 and as Executive Deputy General Manager of the Piraeus Container Terminal in Greece from 2015 to 2016. Mr. Ji began his career in the shipping industry in 1983 and has held numerous positions of increasing importance within the finance and accounting divisions of COSCO SHIPPING companies. Mr. Ji has a Bachelor degree in Accounting from Anhui University of Finance and Economics, which he obtained in 1998.

Ms. Zhang Hongyan holds the position of Executive Vice President of COSCO SHIPPING (North America). Prior to her current US assignment, she held the position of General Manager of Synergy management Office of COSCO SHIPPING Holdings Co., Ltd. Ms. Zhang has extensive industry experience in container shipping management and operations in China and the United States. Ms. Zhang graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Management from Shanghai Maritime University and received a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Fudan University.

Paul Nazzaro

Paul Nazzaro

Executive Vice President

Mr. Paul Nazzaro holds the position of Executive Vice President of COSCO SHIPPING (North America) and COSCO SHIPPING Lines (North America).  Previously, he was a founding member of the senior management team for 16 years with China Shipping (North America) Holdings in the role of Vice President, with a varied scope of responsibilities including liner network expansion internationally, Latin America trade supervision, regulatory compliance, equipment control, customer services, sales, marketing and cost control. Mr. Nazzaro studied business administration at the CUNY and the University of Richmond.  With an international and domestic profession spanning 30 years, he has held pivotal positions in a diverse segment of the international logistics and supply chain sector.
