Secaucus, N.J.  May 19, 2026– COSCO SHIPPING North America was recognized by the Agriculture Transportation Coalition (AgTC) as a 2026 Recognized Ocean Carrier, marking the first time the company has received the distinction. The recognition reflects direct feedback from U.S. agricultural exporters and importers and underscores COSCO SHIPPING North America’s commitment to reliable service, responsive communication, and long-term support for American agricultural trade.

The AgTC Ocean Carrier Recognition Program is based on direct feedback from U.S. agricultural exporters and importers, providing an important industry benchmark for ocean carrier performance across areas including equipment availability, vessel space, documentation, customer service, communication, and operational reliability.

The recognition reflects the trust customers and industry partners have placed in COSCO SHIPPING North America and underscores the company’s continued focus on operational reliability, responsive communication, and ongoing operational improvement.

“We are honored to receive this recognition from AgTC and its members because it reflects the direct experience and trust of U.S. agriculture shippers,” said Mr. Gu Quanlin, EVP of COSCO SHIPPING North America. “American exporters depend on reliable transportation partners to reach global markets, and we are committed to supporting them through strong service, responsive communication, and continued investment in operational excellence. We also greatly value our ongoing dialogue with industry associations such as Agriculture Transportation Coalition, which helps strengthen information sharing, improve communication across the supply chain, and support the evolving needs of U.S. exporters.”

COSCO SHIPPING North America has served the U.S. market for more than 50 years and provides critical logistics services to nearly 2,000 U.S. customers. Leveraging its broad North American logistics network and close collaboration with ports, rail providers, and inland transportation partners, the company continues to support the efficient movement of U.S. agricultural exports to global markets.

Over the past several years, COSCO SHIPPING North America has continued enhancing service capabilities through improved operational coordination, strengthened customer communications, and ongoing engagement with industry stakeholders, including associations such as Agriculture Transportation Coalition, to exchange market information and improve communication channels. Together with ongoing efforts to support cargo visibility and supply chain responsiveness, these initiatives have helped reinforce service reliability for exporters navigating evolving market conditions and global logistics challenges.

Founded in 1987, the Agriculture Transportation Coalition is a leading nonprofit organization representing the interests of U.S. agriculture exporters. Through its annual carrier performance survey, AgTC provides an important industry benchmark by collecting direct feedback from shippers on ocean carrier service quality, responsiveness, and reliability.

COSCO SHIPPING North America will continue with customers, ports, rail providers, inland transportation partners, and industry organizations to support efficient agricultural exports and strengthen the resilience and competitiveness of U.S. trade.
