On April 21, 2026, the chassis investment project in Honduras, undertaken by the COSCO SHIPPING North America Supply Chain Operations Platform, progressed as scheduled and was officially delivered at the Puerto Cortés yard. This milestone marks a phased breakthrough in the Company’s strategic deployment of key logistics resources and the enhancement of its supply chain service capabilities.

The batch of 30 chassis units was manufactured at the Dongguan facility of CIMC Vehicles. Following their successful delivery via COSCO SHIPPING Lines to Puerto Cortés, the equipment will be deployed in the local market and operated by partner NAVIOMAR. The launch of this project is expected to effectively alleviate the shortage of chassis resources in the region, improve the efficiency of port-to-inland transportation, and further strengthen COSCO SHIPPING’s trucking service and end-to-end supply chain service capabilities in Honduras.

As a key initiative of the COSCO SHIPPING North America Supply Chain Operations Platform Company to advance localized operations in Central America, this project will create synergies with existing feeder networks and local distribution systems. It is expected to enhance overall service stability and responsiveness, serving as a model case for supply chain resource deployment in the region and laying a solid foundation for future replication and expansion.

Looking ahead, the COSCO SHIPPING North America Supply Chain Operations Platform Company will continue to advance the strategic deployment of critical logistics resources across the region, deepen the integration of owned assets and digital capabilities, and continuously enhance its comprehensive supply chain service offerings, contributing to the high-quality development of the regional logistics ecosystem.

Cuberto Parras Jr., President of NAVIOMAR, COSCO SHIPPING Logistics (North America) and COSCO SHIPPING Lines (Panama) representatives attended the project launch ceremony.
