(March 1, 2026, Long Beach, California) - COSCO SHIPPING North America marked the opening of TPM26 by recognizing the customers and partners who contributed to the company’s record performance across its U.S. logistics operations in 2025. At its annual Partner Appreciation Reception, held last evening in Long Beach, the company highlighted collaborative achievements that enhanced speed, reliability, and sustainability across key trade corridors.

The event brought together more than 500 supply chain stakeholders to celebrate shared success and reaffirm commitments for the year ahead.

Joe Kramek, President and CEO of the World Shipping Council (WSC), delivered the keynote address, underscoring the importance of resilient and efficient supply chains amid global uncertainty. “Liner shipping has proven highly reliable under pressure, built on strong collaboration among carriers, ports, shippers, and regulators — and remains vital to U.S. economic security and supply chain continuity. COSCO SHIPPING’s dual brands handle approximately 17% of all U.S. exports, supporting exporters’ global market access, ensuring consumer choice and supply stability, and strengthening overall supply chain resilience,” Kramek said.

During the reception, COSCO SHIPPING North America honored several partners for their outstanding collaboration and operational excellence in 2025. Award recipients included port partner Long Beach Container Terminal; rail partner Norfolk Southern; trucking and warehousing partners TWTH EXPRESS and SurfaceOne; and financial partner Bank of China, New York Branch.

“COSCO SHIPPING North America continues to make thoughtful investments in our integrated logistics capabilities beyond ocean shipping,” said Mr. Chen Zheyu, Chairman of COSCO SHIPPING (North America). “We have expanded our intermodal services across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Central America, and further strengthened our warehousing and distribution network to support transloading, fulfillment, and time-sensitive cargo.”

Earlier this year, COSCO SHIPPING Lines announced the launch of the OCEAN Alliance Day Ten Product for 2026, marking a decade of collaboration supported by a strong and increasingly eco-conscious global network. “Beginning in April 2026, 42 weekly service loops and nearly 400 vessels will connect more than 500 direct port pairs across the world’s key trade lanes — further enhancing reliability, flexibility, and service for our customers worldwide,” said Mr. Xu Feipan, General Manager of COSCO SHIPPING Lines and President of COSCO SHIPPING North America.

In addition to the reception, COSCO SHIPPING North America maintained an active presence throughout TPM26, engaging with customers and industry stakeholders. During the conference, the company met with more than 500 customers and partners to discuss its container shipping services and integrated logistics solutions.
