COSCO SHIPPING (North America) is delighted to announce the
expansion of its e-commerce warehousing services in Savannah, Georgia. This
initiative aims to meet the growing demand for efficient logistics solutions
catering to medium and large goods, thereby promoting customer business growth
in the North American market.
In the first quarter of 2024, COSCO SHIPPING (North America) completed the upgrade and renovation of its 75,000-square-foot Savannah warehouse. Located near the Port of Savannah and Savannah Airport, this prime location provides excellent coverage of the entire North American market and its surrounding areas. The warehouse is equipped with a modern Warehouse Management System (WMS) that allows real-time sharing of orders, consignments, and inventory reports with customers.
The facility features adjustable shelving to accommodate various sizes and types of goods and is equipped with automatic shrink-wrapping equipment to maximize the structural integrity of transported goods. Additionally, low-emission liquefied natural gas forklifts support environmentally friendly warehousing operations.
COSCO SHIPPING (North America) continues to expand its logistics network, operating six self-owned warehouses in North America with a total area of over 500,000 square feet.
