On July 29, 2020, Hudson Regional Hospital hosted the 2020 Hero Award ceremony in Secaucus, New Jersey to recognize businesses and individuals that supported the municipality and the hospitals throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
COSCO SHIPPING (North America) Inc. was invited to attend the ceremony and presented the 2020 Hero Award by Mr. Michael Gonnelli, Mayor of Secaucus, as well as the Hudson Regional Hospital.
Mayor Gonnelli thanked all the businesses and individuals for their contributions, stating that “epidemic prevention and control is in very good condition now and it cannot be achieved without your tremendous support.”

When COVID-19 began spreading in New Jersey in March, COSCO SHIPPING (North America) Inc. donated N95 masks and made a contribution to the Secaucus Emergency Fund to the Town of Secaucus, where the North America Headquarters is located, to support the town’s urgent need for personal protective equipment for its first responders.
